Property Income

Property income is the income that is generated from a property investment. It can come from a variety of sources, such as rent, capital gains, and other income streams.

In Australian English, property income is often referred to as rental yield. This is the percentage of the property's purchase price that is generated in rental income each year. For example, if a property is purchased for \$500,000 and generates \$25,000 in rental income each year, then the rental yield is 5%.

Property income can be a valuable source of income for investors. It can also be used to offset the costs of owning a property, such as mortgage payments, property taxes, and maintenance costs.
